In Lake Charles, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Louisiana, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Lake Charles is in Louisiana, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Lake Charles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Louisiana's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Machine took my money when breaking a bill when I realized I needed more quarters broke bill by the time I returned machine reset causing to need full amount when I already put 3.50 in machine. Called owner told me nothing he could do that it aint his fault. Bad business ethics wouldn't even give me time i can go to get a car wash to make it right. Great car was just bad management practices. If machine malfunctions just know your out of your money.

This car wash is convenient because of its location in town. There is plenty of parking and stalls. The only thing that was dissatisfying about my experience here was when I turned the switch from power rinse to tire cleaner it took 1:45( one minute and forty five seconds ) to start dispensing the actual tire cleaner. I suppose this could be an attempt for the owners to ration their products or gain more at the customer's expense. Whatever the case...I can do alot with 1:45 !!!

I visited this car wash today around 8:15 PM and purchased the Ultimate Wash for $18. Unfortunately, the wash did not deliver what was advertised. It only sprayed soap and waterβ€”no automatic brushes or scrubbersβ€”and my vehicle was still noticeably dirty afterward, with dirt spots on the doors and hood. There was no staff available on site or contact number for assistance or a refund. I expected a higher-quality wash for the price paid and left very disappointed. I have photos showing the results if management is interested in reviewing them. Thanks for your response, but that explanation actually highlights the problem. If the β€œUltimate Wash” costs $18 yet still requires using the self-serve bay (and paying extra) just to get a clean vehicle, then it’s not really an β€œultimate wash.” The sign may explain the limits, but it doesn’t justify charging a premium price for something that doesn’t deliver results. A touchless wash shouldn’t mean ineffective β€” other touchless systems manage to clean without brushes. At the very least, clearer communication or on-site support should be provided so customers aren’t left paying for a wash that doesn’t actually wash.

I am new to the area and I enjoy washing my own vehicles because they are all black in color. I was very disappointed with Mid City. The water was extremely hard, the spot free rinse was not working and it was considerably more expensive than other places I have always used. I spent $30 dollars for less than 30 minutes of time. The only reason I gave it 2 stars and not one, because the foaming brush worked well.
